Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. the recurrent stretching / curving of the body again and again as well as uncomfort / making grunting sounds as well as hiccups as well as colic pain all are due to gas in the intestine and stomach.
it is very important that after giving milk to the child you
should keep the child in upright position and do burping for 15 to 20 minutes.
do not keep the child back on the bed after 1 burping because one time burping will not remove all the xgas and if the gas is not removed properly it will lead to
colic pain and more hiccups again and again.
keep the child in upright xposition whether you hear the burping sound or not and also it is not important that you will hear the sound when the child removes the air from the oral cavity.
Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 1 m old girl3 years agoA. hi
it might happen because of fast flow of milk.
so try different feeding positions
keep your child head slightly elevated while feeding.
express milk through hands or breastpump before you start feeding so a child can latch well.
