my baby is 2 mnth 3 wks old.. he was never interested in direct BF... my milk supply decreased gradually nd now almost stopped.. can i still increase my supply nand how.. I use pump only no direct feed

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. you have to drink plenty of water and at least 500 ml milk everyday as well as homemade food from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily e as well as you can go fors shatavari supplement which will also help in increasing the breast milk formation (eg lactonic granules, galact granules etc ). you have sto take all the supplements that is calcium iron folic acid which has been given by your doctor till you are continuing breastfeeding of the child.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl3 years agoA. You can try taking some lactation supplement if that helps you that’s one of the best thing otherwise if your child is not taking directly day and you only have to go ahead with bottlefeeding that way than it’s better to go ahead with formula feeding
