Q.

My baby is 2.5month.. baby birth time thyroid test 8.08 and now TSH test is 6.56.. Doctor prescribed Thyroxine 25mg ... What can I do don't understand?

A. For most of the kids are coming positive but most of the doctors don’t recommend to use medicine for active six months to one year of age because they advised you to repeat the test by then the thyroid range is going to be normal so I would suggest you to take another opinion before you start with the medicine because once you start then there is no looking back
