Q.

My baby is 1yr nd 4mnth old...bt she doesn't have enough weight... I consulted many doctors.. bt all of them says that if she doesn't have any illness then weight doesn't matter..is there any problem??

A. Foods like potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, dal, ghee, ragi, almonds, yogurt, eggs and milk help the baby to gain weight. Please take a pediatricians' suggestion before you start any of these foods. As always follow a 3 day test rule.Offer full-fat dairy products: Add grated cheese to soups or sprinkle it over rice and pasta to add the calories you're looking for. Look for full-fat yogurts but skip the ones laden with sugar. Choose your fruits: Offer your baby bananas, pears, and avocados instead of apples and oranges.
