Mansi MishraMom of a 3 yr 8 m old girl11 months agoA. make halwa with gud that will help with cold cough , you can make different halwa or take combination like mix rawa with some portion or equal portion of besan or sattu / mix rawa , oats powder and ragi in equal portion / alternatively you can roast rawa, besan, oats , gehu ka aata, ragi and keep in airtight container.. make halwa or upma mixing proportion of the roasted powders and serve hot .. if you make dal daily .. take half spoon ghee in pan add jeera, heeng, add roasted rawa enough for 1meal for baby add dal preferably without mirchi nd masala , serve warm
you can make dudh wali daliya , vegetable daliya, daal vegetable daliya (tadka with heeng jeera in ghee add very finely chopped onion garlic add grated little bit of ginger and chopped veggies Like capsicum, carrot , potato green peas fry for 1 min add arhar or any mix of dal you like , take easily digestible dals. add daliya and roast for 1 min on high flame, add haldi salt if your child like spices add dhaniya powder nd kali mirch powder . Cook for 1 whistle on high flame nd after that low flame for 5 min.. your dal daliya is ready garnish with hara dhaniya and add ghee little bit of warm water if it is too thick for your baby to adjust consistency
give besan halwa made with gud /jaggery and pinch of kali mirch powder at night at bedtime .. easy to swallow and helps with cold cough also

If your child is avoiding food as of now you should give more of liquid based diet to the child because that would be easy for your child to consume because whatever you give your child to swallow so look for something like that you can give Khichdi Upma you can give Dalia any of these things which is easy for the child to have
