A. there is always a chance of neonatal jaundice in small children within one or maximum 2 weeks of birth in which the skin as the eyes may appear yellow. you have to meet the doctor for evaluation of the jaundice.z normal simple jaundice will go away on its own with only breastfeeding but if it is more your doctor will advise phototherapy. the yellownessz from the eyes may take around 1 to 1 and half month to totally go away.

A. Jaundice normally happens immediately after birth and that subside within a day or two or maybe depending upon the jaundice level it can take about two or three days after that it usually does not happen but if you feel it is there then you can probably see a tint of yellow into the eyes of your child
