A. dear mum initially after birth there is weight loss after which baby should gain at least 500 gram per month which your baby has gained follow the growth curve with doctor frequently feed baby every 2 hours , have frequent skin to skin contact, at one time feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain ensure that baby latches properly during breastfeeding.
