Q.
my baby is 19 months she sudden got fever firstly her forehead was hot then now total body is warm.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
armpit temperature of hundred or morex is considered as fever
to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water.
higher medicinesx (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is better to evaluate once with your local child doctor in person as medicine is given as per the baby weight and age and also repeat the medicine aftwr six hours if fever is there .
