my baby is 17 days old. first my nipples were not out to breast feed my baby so I tried to use nipple shield but now my nipples have come out .baby is taking milk from nipple shield which I don't want to give.i want him to breast feed directly .I tried avoiding nipple shield while breastfeeding. what can I do to breastfeed my baby directly.

A. since baby is only 17 days of age it is not a problem you can feed the baby directly from the breast it may take 1r 2 days for the baby to latch properly
