Q.

my baby is 16 months old and after every vaccination she received till date she was normal,some vaccinations she got fever and some slight pain in injection area but she was ok to bare the pain,but today she received her 1 n half year vaccination and she is not ready to lift her left her after vaccination and cries with immense pain,she never did that till date previously when she received vaccination.m little worried if something went wrong ehile injecting ,should i show to docter? its just today afternoon she was vaccinated,been half day thats it.please suggest.

A. it is ok .Vaccination is very important for babies. Some amount of delay is justified though in primary vaccines there should not be any delay . Flu vaccine can also be given during this flu season .

A. Hello dear parent! Normal finding. Try giving a cold compress on the paining area. Give paracetamol drops to reduce the discomfort. Give easily digestible homemade healthy foods and keep hydrated. Speak to your doctor for further advice. Good luck and take care.
