My Baby is 16 month old but speak only 10 to 15 words only, How to encourage to speak more words

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. regarding speech baby starts to speak mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by t6wwo years . do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.. if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi it is enough. although to encourage your child for this ,I advise to talk with your child more and more. play different games, sing rhymes and read stories with your child which help to enhance your child vocabulary.
