Q.

My baby is 14.5 months. He cries a lot when in front of strangers or in crowd. He is otherwise a very happy go lucky child. What to do? Should i be worried or is it normal?

A. this type of behaviour / stranger anxiety is very common and this problem has aggravated due to nuclear families. it is important that you should take the child outside and stay with the child so with you present in the surrounding the child will be able to to observe people and then gradually mingle with people and children there is no need to hurry that the child should immediately play withx other children or people and you should give space and time to the child to work upon it. there is no need to worry and the child will definitely come out of this scared behaviour.

A. Stranger anxiety is completely normal and common with kids so do not worry about it as the age will become more which child will grow and once the child start going to school and public places this fear will automatically vanish away but it’s not a problem as of now
