Q.

my baby is 13 months old.. he is having fever from yesterday 99.6. every 6 hours he is getting fever. now its 100.6... iam giving him ibugesic syrup.. but still no results.. what do I do???

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce feverand if there is any need you can consult with your doctor for further suggestions regarding this to clbkear all your queries in proper details which would be better for a proper guidance.

Then Consult your doctor and then you give any medicine to the child because the medicine you are giving is only given when the fever is really high you are just giving it at hundred degrees which is not good at this time you should only stick to paracetamol every six hours please get in touch with your
