my baby is 13 days old . she has blocked nose.and diaper rashes .

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. This can occurs due to weather changes and temperature variations or simple cold and rarely infection.
kindly give nasal saline drops (nasoclear /nasivion s)every three hourly and since it is a salt water/saline water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and respiratory cough.
It will dissolve mucus in nose and throat.
For fever and pain give paracetamol
Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
for perianal/perigenital rash if it is less then you can go for simple coconut oil as well as any rash cream which is available for diaper
(rashfree / ezinapi / b4napi / zincal)
but if it is not improving then at night time you can add t bact cream in the perianal area which will help in decreasing the rash.
to prevent tthe diaper rash in the future kindly apply coconut oil before making the child wear the diaper
