Q.

my baby is 12 months old. at birth he was diagnosed heart defect with asd 4mm and last month we repeated the test and asd was reduced to 1 mm. at time of birth his weight was 2.2 kg and now he is 6.7 kg. do asd or heart defect affects the weight gain in baby??

A. Yes it does affect the weight gain of the child but with the proper diet and proper treatment whatever you are following medications and all things are going to be better over the period so you should take a diet from a nutritionist and follow that for proper growth and weight gain of your child
