Q.
my baby is 12 days old today and delivery was in 37 weeks. she is always sleepy and not getting when she's hungry or do not cry for milk. i wake her up and feeding her forcefully in every 1½ to 2 hrs. why my baby is not feeling hungry??? why she is not waking up for herself?? is there any problem??

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. generally newborn baby shall be sleeping almost 20 hours per day moreover a premature baby will be sleeping even longer feed the baby every one or two hours by expressing the milk also

No there is no problem..
New born babies they sleep around 20 hours in a day... It will be fine as the baby grows up. So no need to worry. Feed after every 2-3 hours interval or when demanded by the baby. Take care
