my baby is 12 days old and he has runny stuffy nose and cold . i gave him maxtra syrup 0.8ml twice a day. until i got a Dr appointment .his weight is 3.4kg . is maxtra safe? i had used maxtra for my toddler previously but strictly on prescription.

A. not advisable for such a small baby and dosage is High Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate advice in this regard if there is need for investigations also
