my baby is 10 months old she had a fever can i open the ac as my room is very hot ..is it safe to change room temp

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 10 months old now if baby has fever it's advisable to avoid use of air conditioner as it can cause cold just put loose fitting cotton cloth and give plenty of fluids including breast milk to maintain hydration

Hello ma’am If your child has fever then you can put on the AC not an issue but keep the temperature on 26° only but do not put on the fan or anything else keep your child a little bit covered and please continue giving paracetamol to your child every eight hours to reduce down the fever I do see your doctor
