Q.

my baby is 10 month old has fever sence 7 days , Dr gave medication of 5 days that also completed. my baby still having temperature like 100, 101.7 what to do

A. for fever as well as pain kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give paracetamol. higher medicines fodr fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation. after giving fever medicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and then meet your doctor if it is not improving. keep the child in cool atmosphere

Maybe it it is a viral fever dengue or Maya malaria because these things are spreading quite a lot these days so I’m just going to advise you to please consult your doctor and conduct a blood test for better clarity and accordingly for the treatment can be suggested right now you should continue with paracetamol
