My baby is 10 days old. Today I saw an yellow fluid leakage from her umlical cord. what to do?

A. When the umbilical cord stump does fall off, you might notice a small raw spot or a small amount of blood-tinged fluid oozing out. This is nothing to worry about; most cords dry completely and then fall off. In some cases, the cord may form pink scar tissue called granuloma, which secretes a light yellow discharge.

A. hi please consult your pediatrician for once. dress your child in loose fitting Cotton clothes. clean this area with Luke warm water. keep that area clean. Maintain good hygiene
