my baby is 10 days old Dr say we should wake him up and feed every 2 hr but he complete his sleep for 4 hr and then take a feed is there a concern for it My milk is not sufficient for him so we are giving top up feed will this harm his weight

A. Yes it is important for the initial time that you should feed your child every two hours that’s what the doctor suggest so try to do ahead with that and also if the child is not gaining weight of the mother’s feeding is not enough for the child and it is much better that you start giving formula to the child as that is what is going to be beneficial in total weight gain and growth of your child
