Q.

my baby is 10.5 months old and 1week back he has been diagnosed infantile spasm...he had mild seizures..doctor has started AVTH injection and sodium valproate...plz guide me more about this condition if anyone has experience

A. hi your baby is 10.5 months old infantile spasm is a type of seizure disorder which consists of localised problem of muscle groups in legs or hands at a time

A. hello sir but my baby is not making eye contact that much which he used to do in 6 months...is it due to seizures?...will ACTH injection improve his condition?

A. Hello, your baby boy is 10.5 months old and he is having an infantile spasm so petit mal epilepsy which needs vitamin B12 and calcium and sodium valproate 10 mg/kg daily d d two doses at least 9/12 months or till EEG DONE
