my baby is 1 yr 4 m old... n wo boht jada vomiting kr rha h even he is not able to digest water.. cough v bohot hai.... 1½ hr me 6 times vomiting.. what should I do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine whdich should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is tchere paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

you must visit your pediatrician
it is important
you can give ondem or emeset syrup as per your doctor's prescription.
keep your child well hydrated
give nimbupani, coconut water, buttermilk, soup etc more
you can also give ors too.
give mixture of few drops of lemon juice + pinch of pepper powder in 1/2 tsp quantity .
