Q.

my baby is 1 yr 11 months old..she speaks all the words calls mama dadda grandma spells some animal names cow dog sheep few more.. responds for everything... identifies..but not able to connect words...will she take some time to speak doctor

A. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by two years ofhl age . just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly. if the speech does notj comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

A. not able to connect break the words and sentences and let the baby repeat after you keep encouraging as the baby speak more and more speech gets better clear and fluent let the baby mingle with same age groups
