Q.

My baby is 1 year old. She was born with low birth weight just 1.9kg. Her weight growth is low. Currently at 1 year she is approx 6.5 kg. Her other activities are normal. Please advice if it’s ok or what next steps should I take?

A. give energy dense foods. the baby needs a balance diet with protein, carbs, fats abd fibre. no need of fancy foods ok. you can eat all you want thats home made and fresh and cooked. get dal, roti, rice, fruits and salads.

A. Even You are child was born with low weight then also as a one-year-old child this rate is really less had it been about 8 to 8 1/2 kgs also I would have sent decent but your child is actually quite underrated need to take a consultation of a paediatrician and start with supplements and nutrition doctor as well
