Q.

#asktheexpert my daughter who is 9 months old was born with low birth weight of 2.32 now she is 9 months old and weight is 6.3. Her pediatric said she will be having slow growth. my concern is 1.

A. Maam I don’t see any problem with the growth of your child the birth weight was less and yes I do agree the child is not gaining appropriately but that does not mean that your child will have a low growth if you give proper food and proteins to the child over the period you will see the child automatically going to have a very good weight gain and growth as required and as per the progressing age of your child
