Q.

My baby is 1 year and 9 months old. She doesn't go to potty every day. She goes once in 3-4 days. Is that dangerous?

A. it is not dangerous. give more fruits and veggies. give plenty of water

A. Constipation is a problem where there is difficulty in passing the stools and it could be very hard leading to sometimes injury and it becomes a chronic condition in most of the cases if not treated properly . most important thing is a proper diet with good fibre and plenty of liquids . Also avoidance of food which can aggravate the condition like Banana excess of milk and food with maida and junk . medicatixdons shfould be given like lactulose or polyethylene glycol but only in guidance with the doctor. In emergency situation glycerine suppository or enema is useful.

A. constipation is a common problem among kids in this age group because right now basically due to being at home or having less exposure to sunlight so so this might happen that the babies food digestion process is also you just need to ensure that you are feeding your child with good amount of fluids keeping your baby well hydrated
