Q.

My baby is 1 year and 3 months old. From yesterday she is breathing through mouth, but she has a cold and running nose as well. Is it normal during cold or does it means she has swallowed something because for past two days she was not eating much. she is not completely breathing through mouth but sometimes she is having difficulty breathing with nose and other times she was fine. please suggest is this normal or do I need to have a check with pediatrician.

A. if the child is taking respiration from mouth then there is a probability that the child is having nasal blockage and you can give me some saline drops or indirectx steam inhalation. the nasal blockage can be due to cold and mucus and sometimes it might be due to some obstruction in the nasal cavity so meet your doctor for proper diagnosis x
