Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 8 yr old boy4 years agoA. This can occur due to some infection or some times due to climate changes and temperature variations around child. For cold / running nose give syp Maxtra 5 ml to the child 2- 3 times per day. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold) For productive coughing give syp ascoril ls 5ml twice daily Prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal congestion and block.x Indirect steam help in decreasing coughing For fever and pain give paracetamol Give warm water to drink Go for home remcedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
