my baby has temperature of 99.5 degree from morning.. anything serious

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. fever is the response of the body towards any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body and only when the temperagsture is above 99F it is called as fever, so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose which can be again repeated after every 5 - 6 hours if required and do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever in between the doses.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 11 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom no nothing serious.. viral fever can take 3-5 days to subside.. Give paracetamol to ur baby.. repeat the dose after 4 hours if fever comes again..Take care and all the best
