My baby has just enter into her 5 month. Her potty is very irregular. She usually do her potty after 3 days and it can go upto 6 day. She gets irritated after 3 days and do not sleep well. Any suggestion or medicine we need to give or it is ok to have it natural way.

hello try to appy castor oil over baby tummy and gently massage to get releif from the tummy discomfort and also breastfed babies have less waste and can go without passing motion even for q week and if baby os constipated then add few drops of prune juice to bm and give for baby

constipation is common problem in children in which diet modification is important like including high fibres in the diet for which you can give seasonal fruits like papaya, watermelon and seasonal vegetables will also help , can give daliya or oatsmeal also to your child which is rich in fibres and nutrients too.
giving excess of milk may also cause constipation, so you should limit its quantity.also avoid banana which may aggravate .lactulose or polyethylene glycol is of good help, sorbilene is also an altertnative but you should give any fmedicine or suppository only when prescribed by your pediatrician.. medication is the secondary option.diet modification is the key.plenty of liquids are of great help too.
