Q.

my baby has jus now completed 6 months.. is very playful. smiles laughs squels and babbles. bt wenevr he call him by name he doesn't respond evrytym. if he's on his bak n v call him by ne.. he turns n looks at us.. bt when he's in his tummy n plays wit toys n v call him by name he won't look all the tym. is this of concern?

A. my baby has jus completed 6 months.. hes very playful, communicates, laugh, babbles smiles. will look at us when v call him n babble n smile. bt when he's on his tummy and plays... n if v call him by name he won't look at us. rest all time when we call him by name when held in arms or on his bak he immediately responds to his name. when on tummy he won't evrytym. is this to be concerned?

A. Not responding to name being called is also an early sign of autism. If you notice your child is not responding to their name (or very rarely) by their first birthday, it's extremely important that you bring this up to your child's pediatrician and call your local early intervention program.

Q. my baby has completely stopped conversations with us with OOO haaa sounds. now he has started squeling alot. wen he sees us he smiles n squels. but no cooing. also eye contact has reduced. till Las week he was smiling n cooing n was conversations for long periods. now he jus smiles n squels n looks at other side. has also become very cranky . cries alot when put down. he's 16 weeks old. till Las week all seemed super normal bt from last 2 days he's behaving different. eye contact also less. is this to worry for some serious problem? or its jus a phase ?
