Q.

my baby has completed 6 months, her potty is so hard, She plays a lot, i give apple puree , muskmelon puree,banana puree. every day i give her fruits puree but still her potty is so hard.

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food hacgs been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given onlyf in medical supervision .

A. Try increasing intake of water alongside with whatever food you are giving because water really helps a lot in better digestion and pooping of the child and makes a little soft as it is meant to be try and give more of water along with the food that you gave
