Q.
my baby had 6weels vaccination and got fever I gave calpol 100mg 0.6ml one dose but fever not reduced and his weight is 4.1kg can instruct the dose

baby had post immunization fever and swelling madam we are using newly opened bottle madam and 100mg calpol is okay for them madam

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. whenever fever is not improving with paracetamol you will have to see if the dosage of the medicine is given according to the weight of the child or not and if the power of the paracetamol is proper.
also if the medicine is older than one month after opening then better to buy a new bottle.
you have to give paracetamol and alsox do body sponge and keep the child in cotton clothes.
after 2 hours of paracetamol if the fever is is not improving thenx you can go for higher medicines like ibugesic or meftal p.
paracetamol can be given maximum four times per day.
