Q.
my baby got his 1.6 year DTP Dtap1 booster painless vaccine and he started having fever after 18 hrs temperature is around 101 abv we gave him ibutop (ibuprofen and paracetamol suspension) ever 6 hrs. since morning we gave him 4th dose. every 5 to 6 hrs fever increases. can we give him milk? can this be because of vaccine or could be something else?

Sometimes even after getting a painless vaccination baby suffer with fever and it is quite normal. But if your baby doesn’t get to leave in next 24 hours then you have to consult with your paediatrician about it. And yes you can give milk to your baby it is totally safe to give milk while baby is having fever
