But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out .
Antipyretict like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is also helpful .d
Doctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

Fits I never a good sign no matter what it could be a neurological issue that the child may be having so I’m just going to advise you to consult a neurologist once Lee regarding the same to know more about it because after a proper assessment you can further be more sure about the entire thing
