Q.

my baby got 6th week vaccination last Wednesday. Her one leg got swelling. we applied ice pack but still swelling is there. please help.

A. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over thfe injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in mfax 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. Thermophob apply after doing cold sponging into that area still if you see within a day or two the swelling is not subsiding at all then in that case you’ll have to have an assessment with your doctor for what’s needed to be done the doctor would advise you
