Q.

My baby girl is one year n 4 months old now. she got her first four teeth (incisors) in the upper and lower jaw within the first two months after she turned one. after that, no tooth yet. whereas other babies of her age have got 6-8 teeth. other moms keep asking me about it. is this delay an issue? should I be worried?

A. no. it is not an issue. you can massage the gums and give silicone teethers to chew on them. you can give hard food like carrot and cucumber sticks to chew on. visit a dentist for a routine dental examination once every 6 months as that is mandatory
