A. It’s common for some babies to prefer breastfeeding over solid foods, especially if they find comfort in nursing. To encourage your baby girl to eat, start by offering small amounts of soft, flavorful foods when she is calm and not too hungry. You can try feeding her after a breastfeeding session to reduce her dependency on milk. Gradually reduce the frequency of breastfeeding, replacing it with meals or snacks, and make mealtimes engaging by eating together as a family. Be patient, as the transition takes time. If she continues to refuse solids, consult a pediatrician to rule out underlying issues.
