Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. there is no problem in in going in a flight.
the important thing is that you have to to make sure that the child does not come in contact with more people.
during takeoff and landing it is important that the child should be given feeding or a pacifier to decrease the air pressure in the ear which will again help in decreasing the the ear pain during the flight.
you have to keep with yourself painkiller like paracetamol which may be needed to decrease the pain if the child cries excessively.
your personal doctor will tell you more whether your child is physically compatible for a flight ride or not
so can go

American Airlines allows infants as young as 2 days old, and Southwest Airlines allows infants as young as 14 days old. But a baby's immune system is more developed by 3 months of age, making them less susceptible to illness
