Q.

My baby girl is currently 5 kg at 5 months and 1 week old.she was born premature with birth weight of 1.8 kg.how much weight gain is expected by start of 6 months.also does the milestone needs to be tracked basis actual age of baby or corrected age?

A. Namaste Mom Preterm babies actually their growth regarding weight gain and milestones slight variation would be there and would be slow compared to full term babies but that is normal to expect so as far as there is gradual progress then no worries at all
