Q.

My baby girl is 6 Month old. As per vaccination Schedule given at private hospital, we are required to give Typhiod Conjugate Vaccine and Influenza (IV) 1 at 6 months and Influenza (IV) 2 at 7 months. Checked at Government Hospital, as per their schedule we need to give vaccine at 9 Months after 14 weeks previous vaccine. Confirm whether it is required to give 6 and 7 Months Vaccine or it is optional. And we can give next vaccine at 9 Months.

A. there are multiple vaccines available in the msarket. government setup gives many vaccines. there are many vaccines which is not available at the government setusp and you should get them at private setup (discuss with yourdr) eg.typhoid, hepatitis a, chickenpox, flu vaccine etc. many times vaccines are region specific and according to the disease those vaccines has to be taken after consulting your doctor. kindly meet your doctor who will tell you which vaccinations you can take for your child which is not available at the government setup . also there are painless vaccine option available at private setup.
