my baby girl is 3 months old, she is passing motion once in 5 or 6 days is it normal, her motion is green and yellow mixed in color, I am giving iron, vitamin d3 and zinc as supplements. is it becoz of tht, what is the reason ?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. all normal continue with all supplement. typically breastfed babies will not poop as often because their bodies absorb most of the breast milk. going even a week without having a bowl movement is ok.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. Green poop may indicate a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance in breastfed babies, which results in your baby is getting a larger portion of foremilk (watery milk) than hindmilk (thicker, fattier milk). Though this can cause tummy discomfort, it doesn't indicate a milk supply issue or problem with your milk.
