Q.

My baby girl is 2 years and 7 months old. She is frequently getting cold and fever in recent times. Giving colpol and anti biotics every time but giving medicines every time is not a good idea right. So I need suggestions on how to avoid medicines or how to use less medicines. Also any health syrup needed for baby?

A. regular cough and cold in children are most commonly associated with allergy which might be due to weather changes on temperature variations. many times simple cough and cold is followed by secondary infections. it is very common that children will have a recurrent cough and cold as well as fever before 5 yearsd of age and after that a proper immunity is developed and then this problem will go away. get the child vaccinated for flu vaccine which will again help in decreasing this dproblem
