ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. having a gap of 4 to 5 hours is okay for the baby but not more than that you should wake your baby for feeding.
You can pinch on the toes of the baby or tickle on the cheeks. So that the baby wakes up and takes the feeding.
Also if there is gases in the stomach baby try to stop feeding and then feel sleepy
so give proper burping after each feed
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. Babies shouldn't go without feeding for more than 4 hours. So while most of the time your baby will let you know when they are ready to eat, it's okay to wake them up if they snooze past the 4-hour mark.
