Q.

My baby girl is 2 month old. She is exclusively breastfed. Her birth weight is 2.53 kg and her current weight is 4.2 kg. She actively nurses during day time and sleeps less. At night she sleeps for longer duration like 4 hours at a stretch. Do I still have to wake her up every 2-3 hours at night for feeding? please advice

A. Dear mum, there is no need to wake up your baby every 2-3 hours for feeding. You should feed your baby on demand that is whenever baby wants and how much baby wants. Your baby’s current weight is normal.
