Q.

My baby girl is 11 months old but still none of teeth have resurfaced. Her gums do feed hard but no visible teeth as of now. It is normal or I need to consult a specialist? Please advise.

A. It is normal. Some kids get their teeth a little late. The maximum you can wait is till the age of 18 months. untill then massage the gums with a clean cotton cloth and give teethers to chew on.
