Q.
my baby girl is 11 month old her weight is 6.7 right now. in few days she loss some weight around 300 gm due to cough and not feeding well.in 11 month she did not take any food like daal ka pani or any food which is good in 11 month for her.i am worried about her growth π and her food pls give me some suggestions

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussihuves medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is tthere paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
