my baby girl is 1 year 15 days old. while playing, she had small jerk near coated metal chair and had a small 1mm cut near her eye.. it looks not worrisome. wanted to know if she will need any ad-hoc tetanus shot.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. if your child has completed the regular vaccination there is no need to go for tetanus vadccination at this age because it is already covered in the national immunisation schedule.
if the injury or cut is very dirty enough then the final decisiond of tetanus vaccine will be taken by the doctor.
