Q.

My baby girl hasn’t pooped from last 26 hrs. She is just 2 weeks and 2 days old exclusively breastfed. Is it a sign of a concern? Before that she was pooping at least 3-4 times daily and but yesterday she pooped after the gap of 24 hrs and today none

A. Stool pattern of small children changes from time to time. It can be more than 7 times per day also and sometimes the child will not pass stool for 10 days also. The most important thing is the consistency of the stool and if it is Semci solid to solid or semi liquid then there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as colour as well as the smell of the stool Also straining and crying while passing urine and stool is very normal. the crying of the child is due to colic pain and not due to constipation

A. Hello dear parent! Exclusively breastfeed baby, sometimes do not pass tools even for a week. It is normal as long as the babies is active and healthy, accepting feeds and showing no sign of discomfort. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on-demand. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy
